Submitting an inquiry through our website does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is only confirmed once you receive a written confirmation from us via email or WhatsApp, along with payment of the applicable deposit or full amount as agreed.
We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are per room per night unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice and may vary by season, dates, and availability. GST and any applicable taxes will be added to the final invoice as per Indian tax regulations.
Payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation. We accept payment via bank transfer, UPI, or such other methods as agreed. Full payment is typically required prior to or upon check-in unless alternative arrangements have been made in writing.
Our standard cancellation policy is as follows:
In the event of cancellation due to natural disasters, government-imposed curfews, or other force majeure events affecting travel to Jammu & Kashmir, we will offer a full credit note valid for 12 months or a refund at our discretion.
Early check-in and late check-out may be available subject to availability and may incur an additional charge. Please contact us in advance to arrange.
To ensure a comfortable experience for all guests, the following rules apply:
The Walnut House shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience suffered by guests during their stay, including but not limited to theft of personal belongings, accidents on the property, or disruptions caused by weather or other external factors.
Guests stay and participate in all activities at their own risk. We strongly recommend travel insurance for all guests visiting Jammu & Kashmir.
We shall not be held responsible for any failure to fulfil our obligations under these terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government orders, civil unrest, pandemics, or disruption of infrastructure in the region.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with a booking at The Walnut House shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Jammu & Kashmir, India.
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our website or services after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
